Relation of xylophone bars length to pitch?

The length of xylophone bars is inversely proportional to the pitch they produce. In other words, shorter bars produce higher pitches, while longer bars produce lower pitches. This is because the pitch of a sound is determined by the frequency of the sound wave, and the frequency of a sound wave is inversely proportional to the wavelength of the sound wave. The wavelength of a sound wave is the distance between two adjacent peaks or troughs of the wave, and the wavelength of a sound wave is determined by the length of the object that produces the sound wave. In the case of a xylophone, the length of the bar determines the wavelength of the sound wave, and the wavelength of the sound wave determines the pitch of the sound.
