Does the rock band bass guitar work on Guitar Hero?

The answer is: no

A rock band bass guitar uses a 1/4" connector while the Guitar Hero guitar uses an RJ-11 connector. In addition, the frequencies of the strings on the bass are much lower than the frequencies of the strings on the guitar.
