How do you tune a 6 string ukulele?

High G tuning (GCEA)

1. Tune the top string (farthest from you) to G (usually at the 1st fret of the A string).

2. Tune the second string to C (usually at the 5th fret of the A string).

3. Tune the third string to E (usually at first fret of the C string).

4. Tune the fourth string (closest to you) to A.
