How do you get a harmony flute in Pokemon conquest?

To obtain the Harmony flute in Pokemon Conquest you must do the following:

1) Defeat Ariados in a random encounter while you are in Grass Fields near the end of the game or in the wild after the game is completed.

2) When Ariados is defeated there is a chance that he will allow you to have the Harmony flute.
