Does a violin have long wavelength or short wavelenghth?

Short wavelength.

The pitch of a sound is determined by its frequency, which is the number of sound waves that pass a given point in one second. The higher the frequency, the higher the pitch. The wavelength of a sound is the distance between two adjacent peaks of a sound wave. The shorter the wavelength, the higher the frequency.

Violins produce sound by vibrating strings. The shorter the string, the higher the frequency of the sound it produces.
