Factual recount: A recount that presents information about an event or set of events in an impartial and objective manner, without editorializing. Uses third-person pronouns, and typically includes supporting details such as dates, locations, and names.
Imaginative recount: A recount that uses fictional elements or creative storytelling to retell an event or experience. May use first- or third-person pronouns, and can be written from a variety of perspectives.
