Aerosmith is an American hard rock band formed in Boston in 1970. The band is often referred to as the "Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". While Aerosmith's music has been influenced by heavy metal, it is not considered to be a heavy metal band.
