5. Ultraviolet Radiation: Ultraviolet waves have shorter wavelengths than visible light and are more energetic. They are responsible for sunburns, tanning, and are also utilized in germicidal lamps for sterilization purposes.

6. X-rays: X-rays have even higher frequencies and shorter wavelengths compared to ultraviolet waves. They are widely used in medical imaging, security screenings, and industrial radiography.

7. Gamma Rays: Gamma rays possess the highest energy and shortest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. They are emitted by radioactive substances and are used in medical imaging, radiation therapy, and sterilization of medical equipment.

By categorizing energy waves according to their frequency and wavelength, the electromagnetic spectrum provides a systematic way to study, understand, and utilize the diverse range of electromagnetic radiation that surrounds us.
