Who was the pianaist in bill cotton band show?

The pianist for Bill Cotton's band show was Bill McGuffie. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1921 and began playing piano at an early age. He joined the Bill Cotton Band in 1945 and remained with the band until 1956. During this time, he was featured on many of the band's recordings and television shows. After leaving the Bill Cotton Band, McGuffie continued to work as a pianist and arranger for other musicians. He died in 2004 at the age of 82.
