What tempo is classical music?

The tempo of classical music can vary widely, from slow and majestic to fast and lively. Some of the most common tempo markings used in classical music include:

* Largo: very slow

* Adagio: slow

* Andante: moderately slow

* Moderato: moderate

* Allegro: fast

* Vivace: very fast

* Presto: extremely fast

The tempo of a piece of classical music is often indicated by the composer at the beginning of the score. However, it is ultimately up to the conductor or performer to decide what tempo to take a piece at.
