How to Get CD Distribution

In order to sell as much of your music as possible, you'll need to get CD distribution. Fortunately, this is an easy process today thanks to the power of the Internet and user-friendly websites like TuneCore and CD Baby. You can get CD distribution, as well as digital distribution, by signing up with one of these companies and submitting your music and album artwork.

Instructions

      Go to TuneCore (tunecore.com) or CD Baby (cdbaby.com) and click on the button to sign up for an account.

      Enter your name, address, email address, password preference and click on the button at the bottom of the page to create your account.

      Verify your account by checking your email, if prompted to.

    • 4

      Enter your payment information, including your bank account and routing number. This is the account to which your earnings will be deposited.

      Enter your album information, including the artist name, album title and record label.

    • 6

      Upload your album MP3s and artwork.

    • 7

      Complete the registration process by submitting the required fee via credit card.
