What is the normal height of a drum kit?

There is no standard normal height for a drum kit, as the ideal height will depend on the individual drummer's preferences and playing style. However, a good starting point for most drummers is to have the seat height adjusted so that the thighs are parallel to the ground and the feet are flat on the pedals. The height of the snare drum and toms should then be adjusted so that the sticks are level with the wrists when the elbows are bent at a 90-degree angle. The cymbals should be positioned so that they are comfortable to reach and play. Ultimately, the best way to find the ideal drum kit height is to experiment until you find a setup that feels comfortable and allows you to play your best.
