1. Start by holding your alto saxophone properly. Make sure your hands are in the correct position and your fingers are covering the tone holes.
2. Embouchure: Start with a relaxed embouchure. Place the reed on your lower lip and cover about two-thirds of the reed with your bottom lip. Blow gently and evenly into the mouthpiece.
3. Finger Placement:
- For the first note (“F”), press down the first three keys on the upper section and the first key on the lower section.
- For the second note (“E”), lift your index finger on the upper section while keeping the other fingers down.
- For the third note (“D”), lift your middle finger on the upper section while keeping the other fingers down.
- For the fourth note (“C”), lift your pinky finger on the upper section while keeping the other fingers down.
4. Continue using the above fingering pattern for the remaining sections.
5. Repeat the pattern for the lower notes. Play G#, F#, E, and D.
6. Practice: Practice playing Feliz Navidad on your saxophone regularly. You will gradually get better and play the song smoothly and beautifully.
