To delete music from iTunes that can't be played because the information for the song is gone, follow these steps:

Open iTunes.

In the menu bar, click Music > Show Duplicate Items.

Select the songs that you want to delete by clicking on them.

Press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Click Delete Song in the confirmation dialog that appears.

Alternatively, you can also select multiple songs and delete them at the same time. To do this:

Open iTunes and locate the relevant song.

Click once on the song to select it.

Hold down the Command key and keep clicking on the other songs that you want to delete.

Once you have selected all the songs that you want to delete, press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Click the Delete Song button in the confirmation dialog box.
