Use your mascot. Since most drum lines are affiliated with schools, universities or sports teams, a good way to bring recognition to your host institution is to incorporate your mascot or logo into your design.
Include your drum line's name on the T-shirt. If your drumline does not have a designated name, consider creating one. Again, using the group's mascot may be useful. For example, your group could be called "The Drumming Wolves" or something similar, using your own mascot. Or you could keep it simple, for example, by using "NSU Drum Line."
Personalize your group's shirts. Include the year in which this particular group is performing. Consider including a list of names of all the drum line's musicians, organized into their drum sections, such as snare, bass and pit. Take this a step further by including each member's signature. Another great idea is to print individual nicknames on the backs of shirt, jersey-style.
Use your institution's colors for both the shirt and the printing. By doing this, you will be showing pride and support for your school or team, and your ensemble will look sharp and professional.
