How did the guards know Antigone buried body?

In the play "Antigone" by Sophocles, the guards do not know that Antigone buried Polyneices' body at first. Instead, it is a sentry who discovers the body and reports his findings to Creon, the tyrant of Thebes. Creon then orders the guards to exhume the body and to investigate who dared to perform the forbidden burial.
