1. Disconnect the Negative Terminal of your battery.
2. Remove the Center Console.
* There are two screws on either side of the console.
* Remove these two screws on either side.
* Next remove the two screws that are directly in the back where the floor meets the console.
* After you have all four of those screws out, you should be able to pull the center console by lifting the bottom portion upwards and then pulling toward the front of the truck.
* After about 8-10 inches or so, the center console should slide right out.
3. Remove the dash trim panel.
* Place the key into the ignition cylinder.
* Press the release lever, then turn the key to the left while pulling up the steering wheel.
* While seated inside the vehicle, grab the left and right lower corners of the instrument panel and pull towards the back seat while simultaneously depressing the clips located towards the top and middle of the instrument panel.
* Remove the instrument cluster (gauge) bezel by pulling it straight towards you.
4. Remove the old stereo.
* There are four 10mm bolts holding the stereo in place.
* Remove these bolts and pull the stereo out of the dash.
5. Disconnect the stereo wiring harness.
* There is a wiring harness that connects the stereo to the truck's electrical system.
* Disconnect this harness by pressing on the release tabs and pulling the connectors apart.
6. Install the new stereo.
* Slide the new stereo into the dash and secure it with the four 10mm bolts.
* Connect the stereo wiring harness to the new stereo.
7. Reinstall the dash trim panel.
* Press the left and right lower instrument panel corners towards the front of the truck and reinstall the bezels.
8. Reinstall the center console.
* Slide the rear mounting pins into the dash first and push into place, after it is secure reinstall the four previously removed screws. Ensure that the center console sits flush and there is no gaps.
9. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
