There are two sounds one is at 240 Hz and another 243 they occur the same time. What beat frequency will you hear?

To find the beat frequency, we need to calculate the difference between the frequencies of the two sounds.

$$f_{beat} = |f_1 - f_2|$$

Where:

* \(f_{beat}\) is the beat frequency in Hertz (Hz)

* \(f_1\) is the frequency of the first sound in Hz

* \(f_2\) is the frequency of the second sound in Hz

In this case, \(f_1 = 240\) Hz and \(f_2 = 243\) Hz.

Therefore,

$$f_{beat} = |240 \text{ Hz} - 243 \text{ Hz}| = 3 \text{ Hz}$$

So, you will hear a beat frequency of 3 Hz.
