1. Park your car: Find a parking spot at the drive-in theater and park your car facing the screen.
2. Turn on your car radio: Press the power button on your car's radio to turn it on.
3. Tune to the drive-in's FM frequency: Look for the signage or announcements provided by the drive-in theater regarding the specific FM frequency for the movie audio. It's usually displayed on the screen or provided on a guide at the entrance.
4. Tune your car radio to that frequency: Use the radio tuning knob or buttons to adjust the frequency until you find the drive-in's FM station. The audio from the movie should start playing through your car's speakers.
5. Turn off the engine (if allowed): Many drive-in theaters request that you turn off your car engine while the movie is playing. Doing so helps reduce noise pollution and distractions for other moviegoers. Check with the theater's guidelines to see if this is required.
6. Enjoy the movie: Sit back and enjoy the movie without the background noise of your engine. The audio will continue playing through your car radio as long as you are tuned to the correct FM frequency.
If the drive-in theater doesn't have a dedicated FM frequency or if you don't have a functioning car radio, some theaters may also provide individual speakers that you can place near your car window to listen to the audio.
