Tijs Michiel Verwest (born 17 January 1969), known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda. He was voted "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag in 2013.
Tiësto has lived in several places throughout his career, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has a residency at the Wynn Las Vegas nightclub XS.
