How to Connect a Monitor to a Sound System
Live sound requires amplification. Although electronic amplification helps the sound reach the audience, it also presents an audibility problem for the performers. With a full set of amplifiers and speakers blaring, performers cannot hear themselves without monitor speakers. These speakers carry the performer's audio signal so they can monitor their sound during performance. You can connect monitor speakers to a sound system in a few steps.
