Bill Skarsgård is a Swedish actor who has appeared in a number of films and television shows. He is best known for his roles as Pennywise the Clown in the 2017 and 2019 film adaptations of Stephen King's novel "It", as well as for his roles in the films "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" (2016) and "Atomic Blonde" (2017).
Skarsgård was born in Vällingby, Stockholm, Sweden, on August 9, 1990. He is the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård and My Skarsgård. He has seven siblings, including actors Alexander Skarsgård, Gustaf Skarsgård, and Valter Skarsgård.
Skarsgård began acting at a young age, appearing in his first film, "White Water Fury" (2000), at the age of ten. He has since appeared in a number of Swedish and international films and television shows.
In addition to his acting career, Skarsgård is also a musician. He is a member of the band "Eitthvað Vandamlegt" (Icelandic for "Something Wonderful"). The band released their debut album, "Fálkar" (Icelandic for "Falcons"), in 2012.
Skarsgård is married to Swedish actress Alida Morberg. They have two children together.
