Evanescence is an American rock band formed in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995. The band consists of lead vocalist and pianist Amy Lee, lead guitarist Terry Balsamo, rhythm guitarist Troy McLawhorn, drummer Will Hunt, and bassist Tim McCord. Evanescence has released two studio albums, a live album, two compilation albums, and two extended plays.
Evanescence's best-selling album is Fallen, which was released in 2003. The album was a commercial success, selling over 17 million copies worldwide and won two Grammy Awards in 2004.
