Hold down the preset (1 or 6) button for approximately three seconds.
If the radio is preset to a station press the preset (1 or 6) button two times
Observe the display screen
The radio display screen will go blank.
Enter the Security Code.
Hold the preset button 2 or 7 until the first digit starts to flash.
Push preset 2 or 7 until desired number appears on the display.
Hold the preset 3 or 8 button until the next number flashes
Push preset 3 or 8 until the desired number appears.
Repeat step 5 for number 3 and number 4 codes
Turn the radio on.
Push preset button 2 and preset button 7 at the same time.
Note:** If the display shows “SECURITY WAIT 30MIN” the wrong code was entered. Wait 30 minutes and reenter the code. If wrong code is entered more than three times the radio goes into “LOCKED WAIT 1 HOUR” mode.
