Press F8 to toggle the "Tool Window" until it is on. Scroll down the device section of the "Devices" tab in the "Tool Window" and drag an empty "Combinator" into your instrument rack. You can rename the "Combinator" however you see fit. This "Combinator" will become your wobble bass.
Drag a "Line 6:2 Mixer" into the "Combinator."
Scroll up the devices list and drag two "Thor Polysonic Synthesizers' into the "Combinator," underneath the "Line 6:2 Mixer."
Right-click the first "Thor" and select "Initialize Patch." Repeat for the second one. One "Thor" will be the main synthesizer, while the other will be used to accentuate a deep bass.
Click the "Mute" button on Channel 2 of the "Line 6:2 Mixer." Then, in the sequencer, draw out four measures of notes and move the "R" flag to the end of the fourth measure. Click the "Loop On/Off" button at the bottom of "Reason" and toggle it "On." Press "Play" to hear the loop while you program the "Thor." Having the four measures on a loop will help you understand exactly what each step causes.
Click the "Show Programmer" button on the first "Thor." Click on the black triangle in the "Osc 2" box on the left-hand side and select "Analog," then select "Multi-Oscillator" for the "Osc 3" box beneath it.
Click on the second red circle in the second analog oscillator to change it from a pulse wave to a square wave. Next, turn up the dial at the lower right-hand corner of the "Multi-Oscillator" to 25 to 40. Click on the small "2" and "3" boxes to the right of the first analog oscillator so that all three are turned on. This causes all three oscillators to go through the low-pass filter.
Turn the frequency knob in the low-pass filter (just right of the 1, 2 and 3 lights) left until you get to a value in the 700- to 900Hz range, and then turn the resonance dial up to a value in the 20 to 30 range.
Just right of the low-pass filter, click the "Key Sync" and "Tempo Sync" buttons under "LFO1." Turn the rate knob for "LFO1" up to 3/16 or 1/8. Then, in the "Amp Env." section just a bit lower and to the right, push the "S" level up to maximum.
Click in the source column for the first row of green boxes underneath the "Multi-Oscillator" and select "LFO1." Crank the amount up to 100 and select "Filter 1 --> Frequency" for its destination.
Toggle the "Mute" button from the second channel of the "Line 6:2 Mixer" off so you can hear the second "Thor."
Click the "Show Programmer" button on the second "Thor." Add another analog in the "Osc 2" box and a "Multi-Oscillator" in the "Osc 3" box.
Turn the octave dial up one notch on the second analog oscillator and change both analog oscillators to sine waves (the fourth red circle on each one). Next, change the "Multi-Oscillator" to the rounded shape (the third red circle) and raise the detune knob up slightly (the lower right knob in the "Multi-Oscillator").
Click on the small "2" and "3" boxes to the right of the first analog oscillator so that all three are turned on, and then lower the frequency for "Filter 1" to a value near 100.
