How to Embed a Virtual Recording Studio in a Website

The past several years have seen a rise in online music collaboration websites. These sites enable users to record, mix and export audio projects entirely online. Collaboration sites also allow users to collaborate with others online in a real-time experience.
You can embed these virtual recording studios into your website by copying and pasting HTML code from the music service.

      Open a Web browser on your computer. Visit an online music mixing website, such as Bojams, Indaba and Soundation. Create an account at one of these websites. Each site allows users to record and mix audio completely online. The sites charge no fee for services.

      Log-in to your account using the username and password you created. Click the "Help" link after log-in. Look for the search bar within the Help page. Search for the term "embed." Each of the music services enables users to embed online music software into a personal website or blog. Read the instructions provided by the site for embedding the software. The instructions require you to copy the HTML code and paste it somewhere into your site. Go to the page listed for copying the HTML code.

      Click the HTML code on the page. Click the "Edit" menu and click "Select All." Click the "Edit" menu and choose "Copy."

      Log-in as an administrator to your personal website. Open the HTML code for the website. Place the cursor at the point in the HTML code where you want to display the embedded online recording studio. Click the "Edit" menu and select "Paste." Save the code file, then load your website into a browser to test the embedded recording studio.
