Who is Gina James of country music?

Gina James is an American country music artist and songwriter. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on January 12, 1978. James began singing at a young age and was influenced by a variety of musical genres, including country, pop, and R&B. She signed her first recording contract with Epic Records in 1995 and released her debut album, "Gina James," the following year. The album produced two Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Too Gone Too Long" and "I Really Don't Want to Know."

James released her second album, "Higher Place," in 1998, which spawned the Top 20 hit "He's Gone." She then moved to Lyric Street Records and released her third album, "It's Alright," in 2002. The album produced the Top 10 hit "I Want It That Way" and the Top 20 hit "Head Over High Heels."

James' fourth album, "The Right Kind of Crazy," was released in 2004. It produced the Top 10 hit "Stealing Kisses." She then moved to Bigger Picture Music Group and released her fifth album, "Tell Me About It," in 2006. The album produced the Top 40 hit "These Arms."

James has since released several independent albums, including "Heartstrings" (2008), "Country Livin'" (2010), "Stronger" (2012), and "The Spirit of Christmas" (2014). She has also toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.

In addition to her music career, James is also a philanthropist and has worked with several charities, including the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
