Who is famous for playing a hollow body guitar?

Wes Montgomery

Wes Montgomery was a jazz guitarist who rose to prominence in the 1950s. Montgomery was known for his unique playing style, which involved using his thumb instead of a flatpick to pluck the guitar strings. He also favored using a hollow body guitar, with a large sound hole near the guitar strings, such as a Gibson L-5CES. Montgomery's most celebrated piece was "Four On Six", which he composed in 1960.
