When did Guns and Roses start there band together?

The band Guns N' Roses was formed in Los Angeles, California, in March 1985. The band was founded by lead singer Axl Rose, guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, rhythm guitarist Slash, and drummer Steven Adler. The band quickly rose to fame with their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, which was released in 1987 and became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
