Remove any existing drywall and insulation from the room's walls and ceiling. The studs must be visible.

Install QUIET BATT® acoustic insulation between each wall stud, filling the entire void.

Install QUIET BATT® acoustic insulation between ceiling joist, filling the entire void.

Install QuietRock soundproof drywall on the walls and ceiling. Follow the manufacturer's procedures for mudding and taping the drywall.

Paint the walls and ceiling with latex acoustical ceiling and wall paint.

Adding acoustical studio foam will decrease echo within the room and add another layer of soundproofing.
