Who were Luke musical influences?

* His Father, Charlie Harmon: Though their relationship was strained for most of Luke’s life, there is no doubt that Charlie Harmon was one of Luke’s most important musical influences. Luke took after his father in his love of singing and playing guitar, and he learned many of the songs he sings today from his father.

* His Mother, Kris Harmon: Luke's mother was a talented singer, and she taught Luke how to sing when he was just a child. She also encouraged him to pursue a career in music.

* Conway Twitty: Conway Twitty was one of Luke's favorite singers when he was growing up. Conway's music had a big influence on Luke's own singing style.

* George Strait: George Strait is another one of Luke's musical heroes. Luke has cited Strait as his biggest inspiration, and he has often said that Strait was the reason he wanted to become a country singer.

* Kenny Chesney: Kenny Chesney is another one of Luke's close friends and collaborators. Chesney's music has also had a big influence on Luke, and the two have often toured together.

* Merle Haggard: Luke has also been influenced by Merle Haggard, another country music legend. Haggard's music is often about the struggles of everyday life, and Luke says that he identifies with many of Haggard's songs.
