What happened to the band Giant?

The band Giant released two albums, Last of the Runaways (1989) and Time to Burn (1992), before breaking up in 1995. The band's members went on to form or join other bands, including Sons of Thunder, The Mob, and Dirty Penny.

Reasons for breakup

- Musical differences: The band members had different musical tastes and visions for the band's future. This led to creative tension and disagreements, which ultimately contributed to the band's breakup.

- Lack of commercial success: Giant's albums did not achieve the level of commercial success that the band had hoped for. This lack of success put financial strain on the band and made it difficult for them to continue touring and recording.

- Personal problems: Some of the band members were struggling with personal problems, such as drug and alcohol addiction. These problems affected the band's ability to function as a cohesive unit.

- Burnout: The band had been touring and recording non-stop for several years, and they were simply burned out. They needed a break from the music business in order to recharge and regroup.
