Claire's Stores, Inc., doing business as Claire's, is an American international retailer for women's and girls' fashion accessories and low-priced jewelry headquartered in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Previously owned by Apollo Global Management, Claire's was publicly listed at the New York Stock Exchange from 1995 until August 2018, when the company was acquired by the brand management company Sycamore Partners for $3.8 billion in cash and the assumption of $1 billion in debt. As of mid-2018, Claire's had 10,600 stores in 35 countries worldwide.
