How to Design Your Own DBZ Character

“Dragonball Z” is the hit sequel to the anime “Dragonball” and continues the saga of the original story. “Dragonball Z” is set primarily on Earth and features a wide variety of alien threats and saviors who venture across the galaxy. The story of “Dragonball Z” focuses on one alien, Goku, and his family as they deal with the constant barrage of threats to humanity. Goku has grown far stronger since the first series and starts a family. Dragonball fans may wish to make their own character and tell their own tales set in this popular fictional universe.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine your race. There are almost 100 different alien races featured in the series, from the standard humans to the warlike Saiyans, and each features its own abilities and bloodlines.

    • 2

Choose your role in the setting. Is your character a fighter from another world? Does she work for one of the major villains in the series or fight alongside the heroes? Is she descended from one of the major family trees?

    • 3

Select your character’s powers. All characters in “Dragonball Z” are unique in some way, ranging from simple fighters such as ChiChi to incredibly powerful beings such as Majin Buu. Figure out how your character manifests and uses its powers.

    • 4

Design the appearance. Is your character male or female, big or small, weak or strong? Remember that some characters that look strong, such as Mr. Satan and the Ox King, may actually be weaker than they appear.

    • 5

Create a personality. Your character must be more than simply a series of statistics and powers. How does he react to the rest of the world? How does he respond to threats, invitations and opportunities? Is he calm, or does he stutter as he speaks?

    • 6

Craft a background story around who the character is and where he comes from once you know your character. This can be the first story you share with other fans or just a personal anecdote that you keep about your new “Dragonball Z” legend.
