How to Stream Classic TV Shows

The past may be forever gone, but it doesn't have to be lost and forgotten. Thanks to Internet technology, a number of classic television shows, commercials and movies have been archived and are available for your viewing pleasure at any given time. Watching classic TV shows and commercials from the era when you were growing up as a child is only a few mouse clicks away when using the Archive.org site.

      Log on to the Archive web site. Click "Moving Images" located on the top of the page. Scroll down and click on "Movies." Scroll down and click on "Classic TV." Click on "Browse by Subject/Keywords." A list of subjects appear.

      Scroll through the list of subjects and click on the subject you would like. For example, if you want to watch TV shows from 1955, click "1955." Click on a TV show from the list of titles.

      Click on the arrow that appears on the video screen to play it. You can click on the box on the lower right of the video screen to make it full screen. Slide the volume bar to the right to increase volume and to the left to decrease volume. Click on the video screen to pause it. Click on it again to resume playing.
