1. Turn off the engine and allow the vehicle to cool down if it has been running.
2. Locate the radio release tools. These are usually two small, thin tools that are used to pry open the radio faceplate. If you don't have the release tools, you can use two thin, flat-head screwdrivers.
3. Insert the release tools into the slots on either side of the radio faceplate. Push the tools in until they click into place.
4. Gently pry the radio faceplate off the dash. Be careful not to damage the faceplate or the surrounding trim.
5. You may need to pull the climate control panel out in order to remove the radio. To do this, first pop off the trim panels surrounding the climate control panel. Next, use a 5/16" socket to remove the two screws that hold the climate control panel in place. Finally, pull the climate control panel out and place it aside.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the radio. There are usually three connectors: a power connector, an antenna connector, and an auxiliary connector.
7. Remove the radio from the dash. Be careful not to drop the radio.
8. Install the new radio. To do this, simply reverse the steps above.

- Make sure that the ignition is turned off before attempting to remove the radio.
- Be careful not to damage the radio faceplate or the surrounding trim when prying it off the dash.
