How to Get a Spin ID

Every weekday evening, "Wheel of Fortune" comes on with Pat Sajak asking contestants to solve word puzzles, one letter at a time. Contestants receive lavish trips, money and other prizes while playing the game. Even viewers at home have a chance at winning prizes while simply watching the show. When a Spin ID number comes across the screen,during "Wheel of Fortune," it indicates that the person with that ID has won a prize. Obtaining a Spin ID is free and just requires a bit of information.

Instructions

      Go to the Wheel of Fortune Web page (see Resources).

      Scroll your mouse to the top-left corner of the screen where you see "Wheel Watchers Club Spin ID." There are two choices next to this: "Join Now" and "Log In". Click "Join Now". A window will come up.

      Fill in your information where indicated to join the Wheel Watchers Club. To obtain a Spin ID number, you have to join the Wheel Watchers Club.

      Scroll down to the bottom of your application under the smaller "Wheel Watchers Club" graphic and be sure that the first box is checked. It will say "Yes, I would like to participate...and receive a Spin ID."

      Click "Submit" at the bottom-right corner of the application form.

      Check your email to see if you have received a new members' newsletter from the Wheel Watchers Club. Your Spin ID will be in that newsletter.

      Click "Log In" from the "Wheel Of Fortune" homepage. A new window will come up. Navigate to the top right of the page and put in your user name and password to see if a Spin ID has been given to you.
