Minor Characters in the Teen Titans Animated Series

Punk Rocket is a minor character appearing in "the lost episode" of the "Teen Titans" animated television series, which was based on the DC Comics characters. While many of the characters and situations appearing in the show drew inspiration from the comics as a source of material, the character of Punk Rocket was created for the animated series.
  1. Appearance

    • Punk Rocket wears an orange suit, has many distinctive body piercings and spiky hair. He always carries his electric guitar as it is the source of his superhuman abilities. Much of his look is based on a characterization of punk rocker Billy Idol, including his hairstyle and signature mannerisms, such as his lop-sided sneer.

    Trivia

    • The character of Punk Rocket was created for the "Lost Episode" of the "Teen Titans" as a promotion with Post Cereals that ran in 2005. The episode is 12 minutes long but enjoys full production value equal to other episodes of the show. The episode included a crowd scene that also featured notable characters as Easter Egg inclusions, such as Hive Mistress from the episode "Final Exam" and the Goth Child from the "Sisters" episode.

    Actor

    • Punk Rocket was voiced by veteran English voice actor Greg Ellis, whose many other roles have included much on-screen work and voice-acting in computer games and cartoons. Greg got his start working in musicals and has even released a musical single.
