Get an agent or manager. Use resources such as the National Conference of Personal Managers, the Talent Managers Association, the Screen Actors Guild or the Association of Talent Agents to find an agent or manager who is interested in working with you and your baby.
Have professional head shots taken of your baby. These pictures are not required for babies, but they are recommended because they give you the opportunity to give casting directors an idea of what your baby looks like without having to go to an audition.
Get your baby a work permit, if needed. Some states require one and others do not, follow the guidelines required by your state.
Join a casting website such as Explore Talent (exploretalent.com). These websites allow you to post your baby's head shots and your contact information for casting directors to search online. They also allow you to submit your child's head shot to casting calls both locally and nationally.
Start going to casting auditions. Your agent or manager will set up auditions for your baby. Try to make the best impression on casting directors.
