If your TV does not have an HDMI port, you can still connect your Blu-ray player to it using an HDMI converter. An HDMI converter converts the HDMI signal from your Blu-ray player into a format that your TV can understand.
To use an HDMI converter, simply connect the HDMI cable from your Blu-ray player to the HDMI input on the converter. Then, connect the converter to your TV using the appropriate video and audio cables.
Option 2: Use a Component Video Connection
If your TV does not have an HDMI port or an HDMI converter, you can connect your Blu-ray player to it using a component video connection. A component video connection uses three separate cables to carry video signals (red, green, and blue) from your Blu-ray player to your TV.
To use a component video connection, connect the red, green, and blue cables from your Blu-ray player to the corresponding component video inputs on your TV. Then, connect the audio cables from your Blu-ray player to the audio inputs on your TV.
Option 3: Use a Composite Video Connection
If your TV does not have an HDMI port, an HDMI converter, or component video inputs, you can connect your Blu-ray player to it using a composite video connection. A composite video connection uses a single cable to carry video signals from your Blu-ray player to your TV.
To use a composite video connection, connect the yellow video cable from your Blu-ray player to the composite video input on your TV. Then, connect the audio cables from your Blu-ray player to the audio inputs on your TV.
Note: The quality of the video and audio signals will be lower when using a component video connection or a composite video connection compared to using an HDMI connection.
