What magazines were the Sherlock Holmes stories published in?

The Sherlock Holmes stories were originally published in two magazines:

* The Strand Magazine: This was the primary publication venue for the majority of the Holmes stories. The first story, "A Scandal in Bohemia", was published in the July 1891 issue, and the series continued until the December 1927 issue.

* The Lippincott's Monthly Magazine: This magazine published two short stories: "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle" (December 1892) and "The Adventure of the Six Napoleons" (July 1904). These were written specifically for Lippincott's, not originally published in The Strand.

It's important to note that the stories were later collected into several books, like "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" and "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes", but these collections were published after the original magazine appearances.
