What were popular TV shows in the 1920s?

There were no popular TV shows in the 1920s! Television as we know it did not exist until the late 1930s and early 1940s.

The 1920s was the era of radio being the main source of entertainment in homes. Some popular radio programs of the time include:

* Amos 'n' Andy: A comedic duo that used blackface and exaggerated stereotypes of African Americans, which is considered offensive today.

* The Goldbergs: A family comedy featuring a Jewish family.

* The Shadow: A crime-fighting superhero who used his "shadow" powers to solve mysteries.

* Fibber McGee and Molly: A comedic couple known for their wacky adventures.

* Jack Benny: A comedian known for his dry wit and signature violin playing.

While there were experiments with television technology in the 1920s, it was not until the 1930s that television broadcasting began to take off, and even then, it was limited to a select few areas and very few households had access.
