How to Find Soap Opera Episode Spoilers

Soap operas have been around for decades and attract millions of fans. These fans become attached to storylines, characters and just the shows in general. They seek to find out the most information they can and in many cases, fans cannot wait for new episodes. If you are one of these soap fans and cannot resist waiting for the story to continue, then there are several places that you can locate spoilers on your favorite soap storyline, whether it is for Guiding Light, General Hospital, As the World Turns, or any other soap opera.

Instructions

    • 1

Watch the show itself. In many cases you can find out the information you want for certain cliffhangers, but a lot of times they may leave some stuff out.

    • 2

Wait for a few minutes after the episode has ended and a preview of the next will play, giving away plot points and the characters that will be on.

    • 3

Also, if a big star is returning, you will usually receive hype about the comeback weeks in advance because the show wants to pull in viewers.

    • 4

Purchase or read a soap opera magazine to find out information. There are several soap opera magazines like Soap Opera Digest, Soap Opera Weekly and network specific magazines like ABC Soaps in Depth.

    • 5

Read these magazines to find one to two weeks of spoilers and during sweeps months (May, November and February) they will give a more extensive spoiler issue.

    • 6

Browsing the Internet for soap opera spoilers will also return a lot of results. You can check the show’s specific website or go to soap opera fan websites like SoapZone. The message boards are usually filled with spoilers and rumors that you can read about on a daily basis.

    • 7

Go to personal soap appearances. Many soap opera actors do live appearances and meet and greets with their fans. At these appearances, the actors will discuss current storylines and possibly even go into what is in store for the future.

    • 8

Ask them questions about what will happen, but be specific on the topic. A lot of times they might hint at things and not give them away, but sometimes you can pry information out of them if they manage to slip up.
