Who are the donnas?

The Donnas were an all-female punk rock band that formed in Palo Alto, California, in 1993. The band consisted of Brett Anderson (vocals), Allison Robertson (guitar), Maya Ford (bass) and Torry Castellano (drums). The Donnas were known for their raw, energetic live performances and their catchy, pop-punk songs.

The Donnas rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They released a series of successful albums, including "Get Skintight" (1999), "Turn 21" (2001), and "Spend the Night" (2002). The band also had a number of hit singles, including "Take It Off," "Don't Wait (Up for Me)," and "40 Miles of Bad Road."

The Donnas split up in 2009. The members of the band have since gone on to pursue other musical projects.
