Agatha Christie was born on September 15, 1890, in Torquay, Devon, England. Her father, Frederick Alvah Miller, was an American stockbroker and her mother, Clara Boehmer, was English. Agatha had two older siblings, Margaret Frary Miller (born 1879) and Louis Montant Miller (born 1880).
