Email the television company. Visit its website and go to the "Contact" link. Select the contact address that is suitable for business inquiries. Make the email short and to the point, giving them your name and website or book information. Express your interest in a collaboration. If your website catches the company producer's eye, he may contact you to set up a meeting.
Contact the company through social media. In the contact portion of its website, it will list any social network accounts that exist. Send the company a private message. Link the company to any social media pages of your own, particularly those that display a lot of fan interest. If the company producers witness the popularity of your book, that increases the chances they will take an interest in working with you.
Send a copy of your book to the production office headquarters. Its address also can be found on its website under "Contact." Attach a brief note detailing your respect for the company's work and your interest in working with it, as well as how you can be contacted.
Visit the production office headquarters to talk with an employee, and set up a meeting or find out the best way to get in contact with a producer. Bring a copy of your book and a letter of interest, in case you are able to meet with someone, or leave the book with an employee to be passed on.
Work with a literary agent. Contact a local agent and ask her if she will represent you in this capacity. Agents typically have contacts within all aspects of the business, including television production.
