Is Coraline on real d 3D?

Coraline (2009) is presented in 3D, but it isn't a true 3D film. The film was shot using traditional 2D cameras, and then converted into 3D for its theatrical release. Despite not being a true 3D movie, Coraline's 3D effects were generally praised by critics and audiences.
