Can the Hubble Space Telescope detect radio waves?

The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is not able to detect radio waves. It is mainly designed to detect and observe celestial objects in the visible and ultraviolet region of the electromagnetic spectrum. HST primarily captures images and data related to visible light and near-infrared wavelengths.

Telescopes or instruments explicitly designed to detect radio waves belong to the class of radio telescopes or radio astronomy facilities, which operate at radio frequencies ranging from a few megahertz to gigahertz. Some well-known radio telescopes include the Very Large Array (VLA), the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), among others.
