Why did Gilmore girls finish it was the best show ever on E4 and most decent TV channels can someone please tell you why?

It's true that Gilmore Girls was a beloved show with a loyal fanbase. It had a unique blend of humor, heart, and strong female characters that resonated with viewers. However, it wasn't cancelled because it was bad or unpopular. There are several factors that led to its conclusion:

* Natural End Point: The show ran for seven seasons, which is a significant amount of time for a series, especially one with a focused storyline. By the end, the main characters had achieved many of their goals, and the creators felt they had told the story they wanted to tell.

* Creative Differences: As with many long-running shows, there were creative differences between the show's creators and the network, particularly concerning the direction the show should take in its later seasons. These disagreements can lead to a decision to end a show even if it is still popular.

* Shifting Viewership: Although Gilmore Girls was popular, it never reached the top ratings for its time slot. The show's target audience was a specific demographic, and as viewers' interests shifted, the show's ratings might have declined, making it less financially viable for the network to continue.

It's important to remember that television shows have a limited lifespan. Even the most beloved shows eventually come to an end, often for reasons beyond simply popularity.

Although Gilmore Girls ended its initial run, it has continued to live on in the hearts of fans and has even been revived with a Netflix miniseries called "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life". So while the show may have come to an end, its legacy continues to resonate with viewers.
