How to Be a Contestant on Divine Design

Redecorating a room can be costly. From rewiring a room to finding the right decor, homeowners are often surprised at the amount of money it takes to properly renovate a room. "Divine Design," a show based in Canada, helps homeowners realize their room renovation dreams by footing the bill for everything needed to redo a room. To be on "Divine Design," homeowners must live in the Toronto, Ontario, area. They must have a reason why they want to renovate the room and an interesting story to tell. Contestants for the show are ideally 25 to 45 years old and must live in a house that has enough space to accommodate a television crew. The television shoot lasts for five days, and the room must be at least 15 square feet.

      Print the application form located on the website. The show does not currently accept electronic applications; only mail-in applications will be considered.

      Fill out the application. The application requires you to detail information about your family and house. Give as much information as possible on the house, such as the history of your home and interesting facts about your home. Detail when you bought the house and what drew you to it. State the room you wish to renovate and why. Give a detailed answer on what has stopped you from renovating that room. You must also answer questions such as colors you enjoy and the type of style you would like to see in the room. Include why you enjoy "Divine Design" as well.
